About Us
Janvikas Samajik Sanstha (JVSS) is a non-religious and non-profit registered social organisation, established in 1995. Dedicated to transforming unjust societal structures, the organization focuses on the socio-economic and educational development of economically disadvantaged women, children, marginal farmers, landless individuals, agriculture workers, daily wage laborers, and migrating families. The organisation addresses crucial issues concerning livelihood, education, health, agriculture, environment, soil and water conservation, sanitation, shelter etc. Equipped with a training center spanning 28 guntha of land in Kaij, it can accommodate up to 100 participants simultaneously for training, workshops, and social events, demonstrating organisation’s commitment to positive change at the grassroots level.
Janvikas Samajik Sanstha is a grassroots NGO committed to transforming lives across rural, tribal, and underserved communities of Maharashtra. For over three decades, Janvikas has worked with communities to create pathways of dignity and opportunity through initiatives in education, health, livelihoods, agriculture, natural resource management, disaster response, and women’s empowerment.Together with like-minded partners, Janvikas continues to work toward a future where equity and empowerment are realities for all.

EDUCATION
Janvikas empowers the next generation by providing educational resources and guidance to children from vulnerable backgrounds. By ensuring access to quality learning, the initiative helps break the cycle of poverty and prepares children to pursue a more stable and successful future.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Janvikas empowers widows and marginalized women by providing them with secure land titles, safe housing, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. By fostering financial independence and leadership within the community, the organization helps women regain their dignity

JVSS is committed to protecting the planet by implementing natural resource management and water conservation projects. These initiatives focus on promoting sustainable environmental practices and restoring local ecosystems to ensure a greener and more resilient future for the community.
HEALTH & SANITATION
The organization promotes healthy living by encouraging the use of household toilets and safe drinking water practices to eliminate waterborne diseases. Through waste management awareness and regular community cleanliness drives, JVSS fosters collective responsibility for maintaining a pollution-free environment.
AGRICULTURE
Focusing on economic stability, this program supports farmers and widows with modern agricultural techniques and sustainable income-generating opportunities. By addressing the root causes of mounting debt, JVSS helps families achieve financial independence and long-term food security.
